The journey from Nagercoil to Bangalore was a complex one. Our host said there were easier ways to do it by ignoring the airlines flights and taking all train. But that is for another time!

Fond farewells in Nagercoil to our kind host Dr Mathias and his wife Leela on the Kanyakumari Express reaching Trichy at 00.30 just after midnight. Thankfully the Lord placed two young men alongside us who were getting out at that place and then an auto rickshaw driver sent by our friends saw us back In bed by 01.30. A flight then by turbo prop similar to a Canadian Dash 20 in two hops Trichy to Chennai ( Madras) and then on to Bangalore arriving at 18.30. Once close to the city the new modern airport is 1.5 hours taxi ride into town!

We are now in familiar territory with our old friends the Gnanakan's at ACTS in Koramangala. On Monday 26th we bifurcate with Colin going to teach a Ph.D. seminar then a course in the coming two weeks in another part of Bangalore and Janette going on to Hyderabad for a Women’s course with other old friends.
