Some trauma in the airport at Kuala Lumpur as for the first time they weighed hand luggage and found mine to be 16 kgs which they insisted we pay for about $100 but as we were 10 kg over on the main luggage and Janette’s bag was 14 kg we could not really complain. There was a stopover in Karachi (the peril of taking the cheap options) for one hour and then a late arrival in Dubai. The transit desk said the onward flight was closed but eventually we were aboard and only had to wait until the next day for our main luggage to arrive.
